Hale Huanani B&B is in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood in south Maui where average rainfall is 12-1/2 inches per year.  It's a 5-minute drive to the closest beach (Keawakapu Beach) and to the most beautiful outdoor world-class shopping mall on Maui (The Shops at Wailea).

Cottage Amenities

Manakō Cottage is a stand-alone house with its own driveway and private lanai.  Breakfast of fruit and muffins or bread is served by 7:30 a.m. daily on the table on the cottage lanai.

Amenities for the Manakō Cottage include:

  • Bedroom with queen bed
  • Private bathroom with large shower
  • Private lanai with propane BBQ grill
  • Fully-stocked kitchen, including dishwasher
  • HD TV with HD DVR in the living room and bedroom and Blu-Ray in the living room

Rates and Policies


Studios (accommodate 2 people)

December 15 to March 31 - $180 night

April 1 to December 14 - $150 night


Cottage (accommodates 2 people)

December 15 to March 31 - $210 night

April 1 to December 14 - $170 night


Tax: 14.42% Hawaii state tax will be added (General Excise Tax 4.17%, Transient Accommodations Tax 10.25%).





Payment policy: After making the reservation, 20% of the total amount will be due via PayPal within 48 hours. The balance will be due via PayPal 42 days prior to your arrival date.


Cancellation policy: 100% refund minus the PayPal fee (2.9% plus $.30 per transaction and a PayPal bank fee of $4.99) if you cancel your reservation prior to 42 days of your arrival date. No refund will be given for cancellations made 42 days or less from the arrival date for any dates that can't be rebooked.


Minimum Nights Allowed: 3


Check-in:  No earlier than 3 p.m.

Check-out:  No later than 11 a.m.


Smoking isn't allowed anywhere on our property.


You will need some form of transportation if you stay at our B&B.  We are not within walking distance of any beaches, stores, restaurants, or public transportation.


Please don't come to our house without a reservation.  We don't make reservations at the door.



A variety of fruits are grown in the Hale Huanani B&B garden, and guests may pick fruit that's in season using pole baskets located throughout the garden.
